5 Things to Check Before You Leave for Your Headshot Photoshoot
After doing your homework, you found the right headshot photographer, found your perfect outfit & your hair is on point. To help you nail your headshot photoshoot, we have put together a short list of things to do before you walk out the door for your perfect headshot experience.
1. That One Thing
If you are unsure on bringing that one outfit, that one tie, or that one piece of jewelry. Just bring it. It does not hurt to have it with you as a little “just in case”
2. Your Outfits
Double check to make sure you have all your clothes that you want to bring to your session. So many people are often in such a hurry that they forget to bring their favorite outfit, suit jacket, tie and even pants! See tip #1 above. If your company requires a specific color top, polo, jacket and tie – be sure to bring it.
3. Makeup
Unless you booked a makeup artist, (We highly recommend Michele Renee The Studio) make sure to bring your makeup kit or at the very least, some foundation, lipstick / lip-gloss and hairspray.
4. Traffic
Always check the day before your session to get a feel for your commute time. Running late and getting stuck in traffic can add stress before having your photos taken. Our photo studio is conveniently located at 4500 140th Ave N., Ste #110 Clearwater, FL 33762 (By the St Pete / Clearwater Airport)
5. Umbrella
Let’s face it, our Florida weather is pretty unpredictable. One minute it is sunny and the next its torrential downpour. We highly recommend bringing an umbrella or a rain jacket. Even if you think you won’t need it, you just might. This way you can keep your hair dry that you worked hard on and your shoulders dry.
