3 Tips for Organizing Company Headshots, The Bonus Tip is the Best!

We know that the process of organizing headshots for your company can be tedious and overwhelming, but luckily for you, we are here to help! Below are some tips on planning the perfect headshot day in your office.

1. Give your team plenty of notice

Unless you have no option, it is ideal to schedule your company headshots at least 2-3 weeks in advance. This will maximize your team’s prep time and minimize their stress level. We can assist with clothing recommendations and how to prepare your staff to look their very best on headshot day.

2. Create a schedule

Depending on the size of your team, we often recommend having specific appointment times for each team member. This will allow the process to run smoothly. Depending on how many looks are involved, our process will be approximately 3-5 minutes per person for team headshots. This will be to take a few shots and then review the images with them so that they can make their selection(s). We also recommend organizing your schedule for any team member that may need to leave early. We will request a list of team members who will need to be photographed prior to the shoot. 

3. Communication

It is very important to stay in contact with your team to remind the team the day before headshot day. Our goal for the team is to have a professional and polished look, while still keeping the company’s image as a whole.  Reminding them of headshot day will insure that they are prepared with their outfits, hair and makeup, where the headshot booth will take place, schedule (if applicable).
