You know that moment when you combine a beautiful couple, epic location, great lighting and nice weather? Well, here is what you get! I had so much fun photographing Jake and Joyce for their engagement session. I simply cannot wait to photograph their beautiful wedding in 2016! Below is just a small handful of my favorite images and a Q&A. How did the two of you meet? Jake and I met while I was on my spring break visiting family and friends in New Jersey. Jake lived in Connecticut at the time but was out one night in NYC with friends. That same night happened to be my best friend's birthday so we both went into the city to go celebrate. We locked eyes on the dance floor but Jake played it cool and didn't approach me right away until he noticed I didn't have a boyfriend. Once he had stole me away from the group we had just met that night, we danced for a bit and I mysteriously left to go wander with my best friend. The next day I called him and we were on the phone [...]

"Capture the right one" :: Choosing The Right Photographer For Your Wedding

With more and more people out there calling themselves a "photographer" it is very important to do your research before hiring a photographer for your wedding day. You only get one chance to get it right so finding the right photographer is key to avoid any pitfalls. I absolutely loved this article the Tampa Bay Times published on Sunday, March 29, 2015 about choosing the right wedding photographer for your wedding.

Ybor City Engagement Session :: Tampa Wedding Photography

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing these two love birds in Ybor City for their engagement session and it could not have been a better Florida winter evening! Here is just a small handful of my favorite images. Enjoy!     How did the two of you meet? We met through mutual friends & family on facebook. Personally, I was totally not interested but his clever writing and camo uniform had my mind wondering.   How long have you two been together? Officially together for a year and few months. Cliche-girl thing to say, we first laid eyes back 2012 when our writing first started     How did he propose? After a 9 month dinner anniversary, we went back to my place to walk our dog. After a simple slow dance from Frank Sinatra.. he ran after my dog, tripped & fell. I, of course, get hysterical when people fall and attempted to help him up a few minutes later. Then... the question that turned me numb.   [...]
